Purpose
The reagent is supplied at a concentration of ~5mM. Prepare a 500-fold dilution in phosphate buffer (0.1 M phosphate, pH 7.4) at time of use.
Specificity
DAR-4M AM is a reagent used for the fluorescent detection of nitric oxide (NO). It is cell permeable and can be used to detect NO directly in cell specimens prepared from various sources, such as the brain. (Ex: ~560 nm, EM: ~ 575 nm).
Characteristics
To avoid moisture absorption allow vial to reach room temperature before opening. The detection limit is about 7 nM. Assay (wavelength): Excitation max. 560 nm, emission max. 575 nm.
